Newfoundland and Labrador Gold Prizes for Research on Aging
The Newfoundland and Labrador Healthy Aging Research Program is pleased to partner with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research-Institute of Aging to offer the Newfoundland and Labrador Gold Prizes for Research on Aging.
These prizes recognizes excellent emerging researchers at different stages of career development in Newfoundland and Labrador and are awarded annually to the Institute of Aging-relevant application receiving the highest rating (3.9 or higher) in the provincial competitions for the following student awards:
- Doctoral Research Grants on Healthy Aging
- Post-Doctoral Fellowship on Healthy Aging
The prizes are valued at $1500 for the Doctoral Research Grant and $3500 for the Post-Doctoral Fellowship and support travel to national or international conferences, workshops or meetings, and other activities that add value to the candidate's career development.
